2009-10-31 2.5 stars Marian Keyes is the Queen of Chick Lit. I've read (& Loved) Rachel's Holiday. Read another two - enjoyable but not memorable. Anyway, this was Keyes's first & I'm picking that after it's success that she was given a more senior editor. There were so many superfluous sentences that someone should have ruthlessly crossed out with a red pen.

Helen Fieldings böcker om Bridget Jones tillhör mina favoriter i genren. Marian Keyes är en av många  Jag och rosenskimrande chick lit var också goda vänner vid den här Men är det någon som sett en Marian Keyes-bok marknadsföras som  Marian Keyes har t ex skrivit om både förlossningsdepression och missbruk, men inte fördjupat sig i de ämnena. Jag har läst lite chick-lit, bl a  Lite märkligt är det kanske, eftersom jag annars inte alls är speciellt förtjust av den så kallade chick lit-genren som Marian Keyes har varit med om att skapa.
