I’ve compiled this list of great jazz pianists that have been influential to me in my own playing. If you are a classical pianist or a beginner that is interested in learning more about jazz piano, this list is for you! Classical music and jazz have had a long and interesting relationship, with musicians being inspired to combine elements from both genres. Among other things, this has led to the creation of entirely new sounds, as well as interpretations of pieces originally written by classical composers.
