He is going to attempt to save good teaching. I liked his point that the rhetoric against transmissional teaching is greatly exaggerated. Even when education is staged as if it was transmission that does mean it is really is education; one which focuses on trust, violence and responsibility as important constituents o f relationships that are truly educational.
